About this event
ICF Colorado Annual Meeting – 6:30 PM MT
The evening opens with the chapter's annual meeting: the President's report, the chapter's financial health, and a motion to approve the 2027 Board of Directors as elected by electronic ballot. The chapter meeting program, Coaching with a Twist: Improv for Coaches, follows straight after.
Improvisation is the heart of coaching. It's being in the moment, listening and responding. Play and creativity are not just fun features -- they’re fundamental to powerful coaching. As coaches we're improvising; we have structures and skills (competencies), but to apply those most effectively, we must be in the moment, listening, connecting and co-creating.
In this 90-minute session, we’ll use improv rules and structures from theatre and comedy, as well as those tailored just for coaches, to experiment, play and learn. You’ll expand your comfort zone, build confidence, and gain trust in the bottomless well of ideas and possibilities available to us at all times.
