In this learning group, we will take a practical look at how the 3 types of ADHD show up in real life and in coaching conversations. You’ll learn to recognize common patterns (both strengths and challenges), understand why performance fluctuates, and adjust your coaching in ways that better support your clients. This is an interactive space, so bring your questions and real client experiences. You’ll leave with a clearer lens, more confidence, and practical tools you can use right away. Key learning points: - How ADHD can present in ways that are easy to miss - What’s underneath common patterns like inconsistency, overwhelm, and stalled progress - The impact of labels and bias and how they shape the coaching relationship - The strengths of the ADHD brain that are often hidden under years of frustration or shame - How motivation works differently with ADHD and why “just do it” often falls flat - Why ADHD can look different from day to day and across a lifetime - What kinds of structures and supports actually help
Speaker:Andrea Perrino
Andrea Perrino is an Advanced ADHD life coach (ACALC), speaker, and founder of Beyond the Label Coaching. With over 18 years of experience in education, she supports teens and adults navigating the real-life challenges of ADHD, including overwhelm, motivation, follow-through, and emotional regulation. Her work is informed by both lived experience with ADHD and years of working alongside individuals across academic, professional, and everyday settings. Andrea brings a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach that helps clients better understand how their brains work and how to move forward in ways that actually fit their lives. Outside of her work, Andrea is an avid reader and book club member, a Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy raiser, and a handbell ringer. She is guided by her college motto, “Not unto ourselves alone are we born,” a belief that continues to shape her commitment to connection, growth, and meaningful support.
